As you have previously been notified, the Board of Building Standards, effective on January 1st, 2017, will update the energy requirements for non-residential buildings from the 2009 edition to the 2012 edition of the International Energy Conservation Code. Plan review of non-residential IUs submitted after January 1st, 2017, will be based upon the 2012 IECC.
