The 2022 Ohio Annual Report is required to be filed by any entity that was registered/licensed for any amount of time during 2022 under the General Loan Law (GLL), Consumer Installment Lending Act (CILA), Small Loan Act (SLA), and/or Short-Term Loan Act (STLA). It only pertains to consumer (non-mortgage) lending during the 2022 calendar year:
mortgage-related information is reported exclusively via the NMLS and should not be included in the 2022 Ohio Annual Report. If the company holds a Certificate of Registration under the Residential Mortgage Loan Act (RMLA), please ensure all NMLS call reports are submitted timely and accurately.
Tips on completing the 2022 Ohio Annual Report:
- The division mailed GLL, CILA, SLA and STLA companies’ User ID and information early-January to the U.S. mailing address on file. Please notify the correct person(s) that the information has been mailed. If the information is not received by January 21, 2023, feel free to contact the division at DFICFExam@com.ohio.gov.
- For 2022 Ohio Annual Report GLL, CILA, SLA and STLA (main and branch) companies: the company must log in to the website with the eLicense User ID and company-established password. If the company is unable to locate the User ID and/or Password, please:
- Email DFICFExam@com.ohio.gov, subject “Annual Report UserID/Password Reset”
- Body of the email, include:
- Company Name
- Credential Number
- Specific request/issue
